I am an independent Creative Director and writer. Creative Director as in coming up with ideation, concepts, words, execution, cultural supervision and everything that contributes to creating fame for brands. (Preferably for those who deserve that fame.) Independent as in working on projects no matter the industry, media, scale, time zone, mission length, how far advanced or how deeply involved. And as in offering an independent point of view on the task and the world around it.
In 20+ years I learned from some of the industry’s finest collaborating with companies like Apple, R/GA, DDB, Acne, BBH, Virtue Worldwide, heimat, Jung von Matt or Google. Perhaps also learned a thing or two from the industries least-talented. And from raising two kids.
I aim for work that is human, truthful, brave and simple. Also for having a good time while doing it. Based in Berlin Kreuzberg, I enjoy the advantages of living in Germany without the disadvantages.
