Hello and welcome to my new website.
You might be here because you need someone who can solve problems with  ideas or decently crafted words. In that case, it can't hurt to look around here a bit and see if  my kind of work and vibe is right for you.


I am an independent Creative Director and writer. Creative Director as in coming up with  ideation, concepts, words, execution, cultural supervision and everything that contributes to creating fame for brands. (Preferably for those who deserve that fame.) Independent as in working on projects no matter the industry, media, scale, time zone, mission length, how far advanced or how deeply involved. And as in offering an independent point of view on the task and the world around it.

In 20+ years I learned from some of the industry’s finest collaborating with companies like Apple, R/GA, DDB, Acne, BBH, Virtue Worldwide, heimat, Jung von Matt or Google. Perhaps also learned  a thing or two from the industries least-talented. And from raising two kids.

I aim for work that is human, truthful, brave and simple. Also for having a good time while doing it. Based in Berlin Kreuzberg, I enjoy the advantages of living in Germany without the disadvantages.

STEPSTONE

Campaign for equal pay day and for salary planer

Collaboration: Dawn, Amsterdam
As one of the leading job platforms, Stepstone aims not only to bring job seekers and employers together, but also to take a stance on topics of work. Starting with more transparency about salaries as a first step to fair pay.

For this, we developed three campaigns with short films and out of home posters: To announce the sponsorship of the female Team of F.C. Viktoria Berlin. To address the gender pay gap in football right before the 2022 men’s World Cup in Quatar. And to promote Stepstones salary planer. All three worked with adding a twist to famous quotes and wisdom about football.
